How do you create packaging and toothbrush designs that appeal equally to boys and girls ages 8 - 12? The look needed to live under a larger umbrella with Stages 1, 2, and 3 for younger kids, but appeal directly to the tween market. We designed gender-neutral colors and a brush design with funky decals that randomly fit each design. The packaging hangs nicely with the lower Stages but distinctly targets tweens with graphics that convey the tech feeling of clean. Stages 4 has been a sparkling success.
